Spring is my favourite time of the year, seeing the Bluebells and snowdrops appear, and the trees turning green is a beautiful indication that warmer longer days are on their way. With so many places to visit and explore and things to see and do in Leicestershire here are our top things to do this spring.

Get Up Close With Nature.
In the late winter or early spring head out to the countryside and find the snowdrops (we have written a fun facts blog post about them here) The display of these delicate white flowers at Dimminsdale is pretty spectacular and not one to miss if you’re looking for the perfect spring outdoors fix. Or head out to find the bluebells, we have a blog post on them too, our closest and one of the best places to see bluebells in our nook of Leicestershire is at Burroughs Woods, the sea of bluebells is pretty impressive!

Enjoy the picturesque surroundings of Bradgate Park. Known for its open spaces, woodlands, and the historic ruins of Bradgate House.
