Who We Have Supported In The 3rd Quarter Of Our Giving Back In 2023.
In January 2023 Mallory Meadows celebrated 5 years of being open for guests. Giving back in 2023 came about because Chris and Emily-Jane decided they wanted to make a difference and help where they could. A list was compiled, allowing Emily-Jane and Chris to choose one charity to donate £5 for each stay during that month. The first 6 months of charities can be found on our blog posts here and here.

July
Our chosen charity for July was LOROS, a charity that offers Hospice Care in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. This wonderful hospice provides free, high-quality, compassionate care and support to terminally ill adult patients, their families and carers across the Leicestershire & and Rutland area.
We were thrilled to have been able to donate £190 to this very worthy charity.

August
We chose Beat as our charity for August. Beat is the UK’s leading Eating Disorder charity supporting everyone who is affected by eating disorders and campaigning on their behalf.
We were very pleased to have been able to donate £200.00 to this deserving charity.

September
For September we chose Macmillan Cancer Support, this valuable charity provides services for people living with cancer at every stage of their cancer experience. They provide emotional, practical, physical, and financial support and are 98% funded by voluntary donations. Fundraising is essential to allow them to continue to offer the vital support people living with cancer need.
September 29th was the date of the official Macmillian Coffee Morning, Emily-Jane invited family and friends for coffee and cake and raised an additional £200! Thank you to everyone who baked, donated and helped eat the delicious cakes.
We were delighted to have been able to donate £175.00 from guest stays making a total donation of £375!
