We have a plan to improve the environmental sustainability of Mallory Meadows, and this year we have added solar panels . . .
In April, 5.6Kw of solar panels were installed, and following many great sunny days so far this year, they have significantly reduced our electrical usage.
The installation includes a monitoring system, that allows us collate real time and historical information. This will help us determine how to expand the system in the future, further increasing our sustainability.
The installation was performed by Stratford Energy Solutions, an installer that uses high specification 400W solar PV panels. This allowed us to maximise our current roof space for the greatest power generation.
