“We have just returned from a lovely relaxing break at Mallory meadows. We were a family of 4 and stayed in squirrel Lodge. We had a great time. The welcome treats were greatly appreciated after a long drive. You can tell Emily-Jane and Chris put alot of effort in to making your stay just perfect. The welcome guide We found was great, you could do your research and planning before you arrive and get a feel for the place. The lodge is very clean and well organised. The hot tub is a great addition. The wildlife is lovely,it’s very peaceful. We used to love to sit and watch the squirrels, rabbits and birds while having our morning cuppa on the balcony.” – Alison S

“We’ve tried a fair few places along the same style as this, we can both honestly say this is our favourite. Friendly welcome, walked us to our place of stay, chatty and kind. Was greeted to a bag of crisps, chocolate & drink. Robes proved for both of us. Bathroom towels & separate hot tub towels. Great scenic location, peaceful and quiet.  Verified Relaxation at its best
Beautiful hidden gem! I'm so glad I came across this place on social media. The Robins Retreat round house is perfectly tucked away. You feel so secluded, and the hot tub and outdoor space are lovely. The amount of wildlife that has visited during our stay was an added bonus. We went on a lovely walk, as there are lots of open spaces with public footpath routes around the cabin. We loved it so much that we've booked another return later in the year. This will definitely be a place we stay every year now.

I booked this trip for me and my boyfriend as a little get away for us and it was the most perfect thing you can imagine ,from the beautiful location to the warmth of the cabin itself it was perfect with warm and welcoming hosts ,I would 100% recommend booking a stay here you really won’t regret it!!!

 Verified Perfect relaxing weekend
Stayed in Robin’s Retreat, it was the most wonderful weekend from start to finish. Arrived late on and we were greeted on arrival and showed to the lodge. The pathway there was surrounded in nature, with just the sound of wildlife. The lodge was exceptionally clean and tidy with everything needed for the perfect weekend away. When we could drag ourselves away from the lodge we made use of the logbook and went on a couple of local walks and a trip to Stoney Cove for a wild swim (highly recommend if you like a cold water swim) The evening was spent in the hot tub and relaxing outside, fortunately we were treated to a rare sight of the Northern Lights, making our trip extra memorable. I would recommend staying here for a relaxing trip away, perfect for couples. Thank you for being great hosts and see you again soon.

 Verified Amazing weekend.
I stayed here for 2 nights and it was not long enough! It was amazing. From the moment I’ve want the owner when we was lost on our way, to when we had a chat as we was leaving, we felt so welcomed. We stayed in Badger cabin which was beautiful, clean and the outdoor area with the hot tub was amazing. The area was so peaceful with just the sound of birds. I loved the digital guide, which has all of the information needed for you stay. I will 100% be coming back and want to stay longer, the owners couldn’t do enough for us. The cabins, grounds and the local area was beautiful and everyone so friendly! Thank you for such an amazing stay!

 Verified Lovely & relaxing long weekend
We have had a fantastic long weekend at Mallory Meadows. The slow pace of life is very well needed for a “switch off”. The cabin was lovely and clean and we loved the hot tub too. This was our dogs first holiday and we know he loved it too. The local walks are great and the dog friendly cabins are 100% secure. Emily and Chris are very welcoming hosts. 1 thing we would suggest is 1 more slab between the bottom of the stairs and the outdoor eating area to avoid stepping on stones going to/from the hot tub. Absolutely minuscule suggestion shows to me that this place is amazing and we’d highly recommend!

 Verified Another lovely relaxing week in the squirrel lodge
It’s lovely to be back, comfy and cozy, we just needed different surroundings for a week with nothing important to do, only to look out at the wildlife and spring blossoming Mallory Meadows have lovely thoughtful hosts Emily-Jane and Chris.

Omg! The most amazing little getaway! Although the accommodation looks small, they have really made the most of the space and have thought of everything. Great communication from the host. Couldn’t fault anything at all. Would highly recommend!

Enjoyed a very chilled out weekend at Mallory Meadows. Enjoyed using the hot tub whilst listening to the owls! This place is really well situated for some great eateries. Enjoyed brunch at the Malt Mill, dinner at The Windmill Inn, cheese and biscuits delivered by Bluebelle catering and Sunday lunch at Mallories (easy walk) Highly recommend

 Verified Just what we needed
After a tough week this is exactly what we needed. A lovely chilled out peaceful location with beautiful scenery and walks in abundance. A very comfortable clean and cosy cabin and we loved the hot tub! Emily-Jane was very friendly and helpful and we had a lovely welcome bag upon our arrival which was a nice touch and very thoughtful. Fantastic stay all of it 100%, very welcoming,clean and tidy lovely welcome pack, hot tub was great, this is are third time coming here , will definitely be coming back for a lovely relaxing stay.A beautiful peaceful place to unwind , lots of mall villages to visit with pubs and restaurants, scenic walks .
